Bangladeshi Hindu teachers Targeted student mobbed forced to resign

Hindu Teachers Targeted In Bangladesh: After the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, pressure on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh is continuously increasing. In the neighboring country, government Hindu employees, especially Hindu teachers, are being forced to resign from their posts. Not only outsiders but school students also enter the teachers’ offices in large numbers, shout slogans and force them to resign. This is the reason why at least 50 Hindu teachers were forced to resign from their jobs in the neighboring country. However, the number of such teachers may be much higher.

A similar case has come to light. This case is of Barishal’s Bakarganj Government College where female principal Shukla Rani Halder was harassed by students. According to Bangladeshi newspaper Prothom Alo, a crowd of students and outsiders barged into the school’s female principal’s office on August 29 and started threatening her to resign. The harassed female principal had no choice but to write “I resign” on a blank paper and agree to their demand.

Insulted by entering the office

According to media reports, on August 18, 50 girl students of Azimpur Government School and College surrounded the female principal, Gitanjali Barua. They demanded resignation not only from the principal but also from assistant principal Gautam Chandrapal and physical education teacher Shahnaz Akhtar. According to the Daily Star report, before August 18, these girls had never done this to the school principal, but that morning the girls barged into his office and humiliated him. Such incidents have happened all over Bangladesh. Videos of students being pressurized to resign can be seen a lot on social media.

Yunus government is not doing anything

In these dire circumstances, fear can be clearly seen among the Hindu teachers of Bangladesh. Associate Professor Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee of Kabir Najrul University told the media that he too was forced to resign. He said that we are very insecure. Not only this, exiled Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen targeted the Yunus government against the protesters and rioters and tweeted that Bangladeshi teachers are being forced to resign. Yunus does not say anything against this.
